Matthew & HeatherMatthew and Heather confess they are one of the most sappy couples alive. And when it came time to propose, Matthew was sure to not let this reputation slide. He decided to recreate the magical moment that occurred between them on a bar patio in Athens, Georgia, where they first started talking. Although a year had passed since they had fallen for each other, it was easy to recreate that evening with his photographic memory. Well, maybe Matthew didn’t actually have a photographic memory, but he did have a photo album up his sleeve—ever since they were dating he had been taking pictures of their life together. Matthew made sure they were seated in the exact same seats as before, pulled the photo album out of his book bag and placed it on Heather’s lap. She smiled as she began to peruse through pictures from their school, good times they shared together, fun with friends, their graduation, vacations with their families, and weddings they had been to together, until she reached a note which read: As you might have noticed there are many blank pages left in this photo album. I want nothing more than spending the rest of our lives filling this album and many other albums up with pictures we take throughout our lives. With that being said, I want you by my side forever. So Heather Michelle Wilson...(there was a picture of Heather’s bridesmaid, Lisa, holding up a sign that said ‘Will’ and then her bridesman Steve saying ‘You’; her maid of honor, Audrey, holding a sign that read ‘Marry’, and finally Matthew and her dog, Penny Lane, saying ‘Me?’.) Will—You—Marry—Me? The ring was stuffed inside the photo paper right there underneath the note. (And both being history majors, well...the rest is history!)
