It's hard to say if it was the strong family ties, deep love for their friends, or their endearing quirky tastes that helped seal their connection in college. It is certain however that each of these qualities played a pivotal role in Rob & Karin's 13 year friendship.

They remained friends after school, but they slowly drifted apart while Rob spent time teaching English in Spain.
