Michael & DeannaMichael and Deanna first met at a masquerade themed charity event. Though Michael's first glance at Deanna was from behind a mask, he was immediately entranced. According to Deanna he "stalked around" a bit to find her email address and began pursuing her via email.
A connection was made between the two and relationship began to grow. Their common interests, similarities and differences meshed together into a five year relationship that was ultimately put to the test. The two had made plans to travel through southeast Asia on a 5 week trip that covered the continent from Tibet to the Phillippines. It was more than just a trip, it was a trial of their relationship.
Fortunately the two aced the test by traveleing well together, and while standing at the Mount Everest base camp, Michael became very aware that Deanna was the right one for him.
And so, on Christmas Day 2009, Michael surprised Deanna with a ring and asked him to share the rest of her life with him.
