Lynn became friends with Roaul's sisters at church when she lived in Lakeland Florida. Then 20-year-old Raoul came to a family function at the church and Lynn caught his eye immediately. The two began to talk and over time a friendship grew.
Years passed and the two lost touch. Eventually they reconnected, but this time a much deeper relationship developed. Unfortunately Lynn's mother was very ill from fighting breat cancer. Through it all Raoul supported both Lynn and her entire family.
When Lynn's mother passed, Raoul and Lynn's relationship had been tested with fire, and both were convinced that they had found their soul mate. Heartache had played a role in helping the two find a grounding of love in the other.
