Rai & JenIt's not often that you would hear a couple admit to Britney Spears being one of the connecting points in their relationship. But in a round about way, she's directly responsible for Rai and Jen's meeting and eventual marriage.  Rai and Jen were both attending UVA, and lived in the same dorm. Jen's hall mate would often hang out with some of the guys in the lobby, and first introduced Rai to Jen. When Jen found out that Rai actually had a television in his room she took him up on an offer to come by and watch TV.  She was hoping to watch a Britney Spears movie, since she didn't have a television in her room. Unfortunately she couldn't make it for the viewing, but the door had been opened, and the two got to know each other better as they shared several classes together during the next semester.  Though their families come from two different Asian cultures, they were able to connect on many levels, and a relationship was born. Years later Rai mustered the courage to ask for her father's blessing, and went on to ask for Jen's hand in the face of a coyote and bear threat.
