J.C. & PorciaIf there was one word to describe this couple, it would be patience. J.C. and Porcia's path towards marriage began in middle school.
J.C. was quick to notice Porcia when she was first transferred to his middle school in Montgomery Alabama. He began calling her nearly every night, just to chat about her day, but Porcia was oblivious to the fact that J.C. was interested in being more than just friends.
Their families knew each other and so they stayed in contact after highschool, but their collegiate studies took them to different states, and so their contact became less frequent.
On her way back home for thanksgiving, Porcia found herself on the same airplane as J.C.'s sister. The two began to talk and word got back to J.C. that Porcia was going to be in Montgomery. J.C. wasn't in town, but he did give Porcia a call, and the two began their path towards marriage once again.
Today, they are happily married, though they are living apart while Porcia finishes her residency in North Carolina. And as you would expect, they both noted that five years from today they just want to be together.
